I had the Yamaha HS8 Powered monitors for about a year, I thought that were big enough as to render a good bass but now that I have this subwoofer the difference is day and night. [Active] Bought this to compliment my Yamaha DGX-650 keyboard, and it works exactly as designed. Plugged it in to my keyboard headphone jack and adjusted the volume - viola ! I will someday upgrade to a larger unit when performing, but for now this meets my needs perfectly for practice - not too large, not too small, just enough power to fill a large room with legendary Yamaha sound. I may even add another one just because.... A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. This unit rocks !

[Empty] I use the case for Yamaha S-910. I have to add some padding on one side to make it fit, but the keyboard is well protected. Best imaginable case for the price.
