[Active] Bought this to compliment my Yamaha DGX-650 keyboard, and it works exactly as designed. Plugged it in to my keyboard headphone jack and adjusted the volume - viola ! I will someday upgrade to a larger unit when performing, but for now this meets my needs perfectly for practice - not too large, not too small, just enough power to fill a large room with legendary Yamaha sound. I may even add another one just because.... A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. This unit rocks !

[Yes] While the Yamaha keys do feel more like grand piano keys, this keyboard SOUNDS better than the Yamaha 143. recommended.
