[Polypropylene] I got these to replace some Yamaha NS-AW350's outside. I got some great help from Polk tech support who answered by questions pre buy. The Atrium 6 met my needs and budget. The sound is much clearer, and the biggest improvement has been in the bass the Polk's provide over my previous speakers. These are outside wall mounted under the roof overhang for a 20x20 deck and are hooked up to a basic 100 per channel receiver. So far highs to lows sound good for a speaker this size. I looked a few other speakers in stores and online, but I found these at a great price and they were the best bang for the buck. Installation was easy, 2 screws per bracket and snap the speaker in place basically. The sound is easily heard over the whole deck. I look forward to enjoying these for a long time.

[3x Fan] I bought this to amplify sound from my outdoor TV. Hooked to Yamaha outdoor speakers, it provides a good quality sound. Easy to install and set up.

[Sealed] These outdoor speakers sound very nice on our back patio. We’re fortunate to have a covered portico where we were able to mount them vertically with opposing side walls to reflect passive radiator bass sound equally. We have an older Yamaha Aventage A/V receiver which provides 150 watts per channel to our zone 2 Def Techs, controlled wirelessly through the Yamaha controller app. The speakers play background music sweetly at low volume, and really pump out nice, full range sound when cranked up. Bass is quite good at party volume. Have to be very careful not to get kicked out of the neighborhood! Very happy with our purchase.

[Sealed] The Avantone CLA-200 Studio Reference Amplifier is easily the best purchase I made all year. I own a pair of Yamaha NS 10M Studio Monitors and for years I just used random amplifiers to power them. I decided this year to invest in a better quality amplifier to improve the overall sound quality of my Monitors. After weeks of research And reading countless reviews I decided to go with the CLA-200. I must say the shipping was immediate and I received the new amplifier the very next day after ordering. I can't stress how impressed I was with the sound quality the CLA-200 brought to my NS-10's. The clarity and the frequency response was just amazing. I highly recommend the CLA-200 for any and all Yamaha NS10 users. You won't be disappointed!

[Bass-Reflex] I was a skeptic before purchasing the NS-555 since they are a bass reflex speaker.I prefer acoustic suspension spkrs BUT, the Yamies are not boombing bass, very strong solid bass responce and very good mid and high range. I'm using a Yamaha HTR-5860 AV receiver,YST-215 sub woofer and NS-C444 center speaker. Using two Sony spkrs for rear but will replace them with the Yamaha NS-333. I find the complete Yamaha system i have sounds great and i get many compliments on the suround sound!! Yamaha speakers truely brings sounds to life ! I'm a YAMIE !!!!!

[Black] Got my Yamaha NS-SW050 8 100W Subwoofer (Black) today. It's plugged in and ripping. I love the low edge it gives me. Some songs deserve extra low-end. This sub from B&H does the trick. It came fast and damage free and sounds great.

[44 x 19 x 12.5"] I am a proud 3 year owner of a pair of NS-555's and I have to tell you, if you are in the 2 to 3thousand dollar price range for a set of main speakers, you would simply feel robbed if you don't at the very least give these speakers a good audition! Read all the reviews on these speakers...user reviews...all of them, not one is a negative one. In fact all of them say the same thing...these speakers are ridiculously cheap for how good they sound! I listen to lots of jazz and blues...two channel music. I have an HK AVR130 and a Rotel RDV1060 and a Sonicwave Pure Glass optical interconnect. These speakers reveal detail and nuances that seem to float in front of you! Bass is tight and surprisingly deep. It took me a while to angle them right, taking into account the wave guide horns that do just that guide the sound, to achieve the optimum soundstage imaging. I can say that after some slight adjustments you can really achieve great soundstaging! And this to all of you that thinks the Japanese can't make a great sounding speaker....NOT! Its now time for the Europeans to make a speaker that sounds this good...for this cheap!!!! Yeah right! The NS-555's are as good as any speaker under 2 grand a pair easy! And none are more beautiful! Problems Encountered: The only thing to recommend is to turn the speakers up side down right out of the box so you can install the corner supports. They are very well designed and effectively stabilizes the speaker by expanding the footprint. The speakers are not light so be careful and it would be advised to have a soft towel or carpet under the speakers when you unpack them.

[8" / 20 cm Cone] Pair this with their inexpensive but highly spec'd NS 6490 speakers for a complete set up. Sub is simple to install and operate.
