[Yes] The E-Image tripod is super slick. The adjustable drag gives you some options for smooth pans at different speeds. It's extremely stable and solid with the ability to flip from rubber non-skid indoor feet to double spikes for anchoring firmly outside. It opens and closes and raises and lowers with ease and evenly. It's hefty enough to handle a larger camera. The mounting device is also quick to remove and set up.
